Limited Edition: GSR40iby Tim Bushman

We are very excited to introduce a new edition GSR40, the GSR40 Interceptor - TS (Trevor Simpson). With a list of performance and handling enhancing features this should prove to be the ultimate Closed Course racing machine. Comparable to the relationship Shelby had with Ford Motor Corporation's Cobra, Trevor adds his personal touches to each and every GSR40i motor before it ever gets bolted to a frame. Another plus is that the increase in power comes with almost no increase in noise. The black powder-coated frame even looks fast! With features ranging from the new style kick stand to the optional luggage rack, this product will set new standards, guaranteed! The following is a list of the features unique to the GSR40i.

Handling Enhancements

  • Double sided "Bothy" front fork
  • Knobby Tires
  • Steel Hinge
  • 2024-T3 lock tube
  • Robo stem
  • Riser handlebars
  • Improved lever ergonomics with clamp on throttle and kill switch
  • Team edition grips

Performance Enhancements by: Trevor Simpson

  • Ported Cylinder
  • Increased Compression
  • 15.5mm Carburetor (stock measures 12mm)
  • Shortened and bored intake manifold
  • Enlarged exhaust exit and connect tube
  • CNC engraved Trevor Simpson Signature on flywheel shroud
GSR Specialty Tools by Jim Robins

Two new tools are now available from PMW which will make it easier to work on your customers' GSRs.

The first is a Rear Stack Alignment Tool. When the time comes to replace a rear tire, sprocket, or brake disk, you will find that this tool is a big help. For a GSR to run well the rear brake disk and especially the sprocket need to be precisely aligned with the rear wheel. If the sprocket is out of alignment it will cause the chain to cycle between loose and tight as the scooter is run. This will severely reduce chain life. Our tool is precisely machined to hold the wheel bearings, sprocket, and brake disk concentrically while you tighten up the bolts. It's a simple yet invaluable tool. Part # 5504

The second tool is for changing drive sprockets on the GSR's clutch drum. One half of the tool engages the inside of the clutch drum and prevents it from turning. The other side has cut-outs which fully engage the teeth on either the 6 or 7 tooth drive sprocket. (7 tooth sprockets are available from PMW for an increased top speed! 7-tooth sprocket is Part # GSR1002.1 ) The precise fit of the tool is gentle on the sprocket and prevents damage to its teeth. Remember that the sprocket is a normal right hand thread!

New Dealer: Go-Ped® Factory Go-Shopby Kebin King

It seems like it was a matter of time till this day came, a Go-Ped boutique. Everything you’d dream that could possibly happen here at Go-Ped® has not only came true but made this company expand and prosper for many years to come. Go-Jewelry to Leather Jackets, it’s all here at the Go-Ped Factory Go-Shop. Not only do we have specially made Go-Ped apparel but we also carry high performance Go-Ped® products from just about every manufacturer.

Just as the summer is at its peak, we have a new place for Go-Pedders, Dealers and the interest public to come in to browse around or buy a few Go-Goodies. There might be things you thought you’d never see and there might be things you’ve always wanted but could never find.

The Factory Go-Shop is a new Go-Ped Dealership and our whole intention for this new shop is to give everyone a taste of what other Go-Ped® Dealerships can be like. When a customer walks in, an imaginary picture is painted in their mind, “This is what other Go-Ped dealerships must be like!!” Because we don’t want to compete with other Go-Ped Dealerships, all items are priced at Suggested Retail.

The hard work from the Patmonts and the whole Go-Ped® family brought us to this day, the opening of the New Go-Ped Factory Go-Shop. The days spent choosing colors the walls, figuring out which clothes should be on the shelves, what aftermarket parts should be displayed and finally the massive move of employees to the new building has all paid off. The new Factory Go-Shop is another learning experience for all of us.

PMW Dealer 5 Star Ratingby Jim Patmont

"PMW's rating system is a way for the consumer to be directed to best, closest PMW Go Ped® dealer in their local area. In conjunction with Map Quest, the "Find A Dealer" locator on www.goped.com directs potential Go Ped purchasers to local dealers in their area. The Map Quest function picks the 5 closest geographically to the inputted address. This service supplies a printable map with driving instructions right to the front door of all PMW Go Ped® dealers. The dealer rating is intended to promote those dealers who promote the Go Ped® family of products the best. We have elected to utilize a "5 Star" dealer rating system that emphasizes total customer support.

This rating system is designed to recognize and promote the PMW dealers who support, service, sell and protect the Go Ped® name the best. Since the consumer has typed in www.goped.com, using our brand name to find our products, we feel that this rating system rewards the dealers who best represent us. We look forward to all dealers striving to be the best, and look forward to helping you become a PMW recognized "Gold Star Dealer!"
